How much will storage cost?

This depends on the size of the space you require. For a range of available sizes and prices please contact our friendly staff or use the storage calculator.

Is insurance included in the price?

Some companies like to include insurance into the price of your unit. We prefer to give you the option as many people transfer their home contents insurance policy to cover their storage unit. If you would like insurance we work with a self-storage broker and have various options of cover available.

What can I store in my storage unit?

You can store anything in your storage unit, from household furniture to office archives. Items which are hazardous, flammable, explosive, environmentally harmful, perishable, illegal or stolen equipment are not permitted to be stored on our facility.

How do I book a storage unit or vehicle space?

All you need to do is contact the staff at Epic Storage. Bookings can be made over the over the phone, by email or simply coming to our office in Albert Park.

What is involved in signing up?

Our standard storage agreement lists our terms and conditions. You also need to bring photo identification and a padlock to lock your storage unit. If you do not have your own padlock you can purchase one from us. Only you hold the key to your storage unit.

When can I have access?

You can access your belongings 7 days a week during our open hours.

What security do you provide?

Our storage units are protected by monitored alarm systems and security cameras. Our indoor storage areas are kept locked at all times. Access to these areas is restricted to storage customers and staff only. We require you to enter your pin at the main gate whenever you enter or exit so that we are aware of when you are onsite and when you have left.

When do I have to pay?

On the day that you move in, we require that you pay one month upfront. We will then invoice you on a monthly basis to the address that you provide. All payments are to be made in advance. If you like, you can pay for longer periods at a time by arrangement with our office.

What are the methods of payment?

We accept all common methods of payment including cash, cheque, visa, mastercard, eftpos, electronic funds transfer and direct debit.

Do you sell packaging materials?

Yes, we have a wide range of packaging materials available to suit all your needs. This includes boxes, tape, plastic protectors, bubble wrap and more.

Do you have any packing tips?

We always recommend that customers ensure that boxes and bags are properly sealed and secured. This helps to keep personal belongings in good condition. When packing items into the storage unit, try and utilise the height. This way you will be able to fit more in.
